SMALL DETAILS, BETTER PAGES
Which ruling feels right?
Start with how you write, then pick the paper that gives your words enough room.
01 Wide ruled · 11/32 inch
The roomiest of these three sheets, with 8.73125 mm between lines. A useful starting point for larger handwriting or early writing practice.
02 College ruled · 9/32 inch
A middle ground for class notes, journaling, and everyday writing. Our college ruled sheet uses 7.14375 mm spacing.
03 Narrow ruled · 1/4 inch
At 6.35 mm, the closer lines fit more writing on a page. Try it for small handwriting, lists, or compact notes.

A few paper questions.
Is this lined paper really free?
Yes. Every preset and the custom paper generator is free to use, with no account required. The PDF contains the paper lines, without a watermark or brand banner.
Are these the right lines for my school?
Wide, college, and narrow ruled names help you compare spacing. Requirements differ, so check your teacher’s requested dimensions. Each preset lists its actual line spacing.
Can I remove the vertical margin line?
Yes. Open Customize, expand the extra options, and turn off the margin line. You can also change all four page margins.
Why did my printed lines come out smaller?
Your print dialog may have scaled the PDF to fit. Match the paper size and choose Actual size / 100%. Printer hardware and driver settings can still affect the result, so measure a sample if dimensions matter.
